Overview

As Product Designer for Neosys, I led the complete revamp of an enterprise agency-management platform a decade-old legacy system serving thousands of users across regulated GCC markets. I rebuilt the design system from scratch with tokens and modular components, replacing years of visual inconsistency without breaking a single production flow, and extended the platform to fully bilingual Arabic RTL and English LTR interfaces.

Role

UI/UX Product Designer — design system, information architecture, and bilingual interface design.

The problem

The Challenge

Neosys needed to modernise a legacy enterprise system to meet current expectations while maintaining business continuity for complex, mission-critical workflows. Any change risked disrupting institutional habits built over a decade of daily use.

  • Outdated interface affecting daily productivity

  • Inconsistent design patterns across modules

  • Dense workflows requiring simplification, not removal

  • No scalable design system or shared tokens

  • Full Arabic RTL support required alongside English

The approach

The Solution

I modernised the visual interface while improving information architecture and workflow efficiency, introducing a token-based system that guarantees consistency across every module and scales with future features.

Modular Design System

A tokenised component library covering colour, typography, spacing, and states, documented for direct developer handoff and reuse across every module.

Workflow Optimisation

Restructured dense operational flows to reduce steps and errors, with smart defaults and contextual actions for the most frequent daily tasks.

Bilingual RTL Architecture

Mirrored Arabic RTL layouts designed alongside English LTR, handling numerals, alignment, directional iconography, and typographic rhythm in both scripts.

Continuity-First Rollout

Changes introduced incrementally and validated with real operators, so modernisation never came at the cost of user familiarity or production stability.

The outcome

Impact & Results

The revamped platform improved clarity and operational efficiency across daily workflows while giving the team a durable design foundation. The system now supports new modules and bilingual markets without redesign work, and the legacy interface was replaced without a single broken production flow.

Key Learnings

  • Enterprise modernisation succeeds through continuity, not reinvention.

  • Tokens are what make consistency survive team changes.

  • RTL is an architecture decision, not a translation step.

  • Incremental rollout earns trust from long-tenured users.
